This training will help you build a strong foundation and enhance your skills. We’ll cover core concepts, tools, and commands essential for your work—whether you’re focused on buildings and interiors (Architect), parks and landscapes (Landmark), or events and entertainment (Spotlight). Expect hands-on instruction that will guide you through creating, editing, and publishing your designs.

Take your Vectorworks skills further with the tools and workflows that drive design production and output. This course builds a working understanding of how data powers accurate, efficient, and profitable design.
You'll start with data and data management in Vectorworks — a powerful but often overlooked part of the software, and the most efficient way to analyze and quantify a design. From there, you'll build styles for plants, hardscapes, landscape areas, curbs, fences, and walls, and learn best practices for adding and controlling the data inside them.
You'll then connect the pieces: Record Formats, Data Tags, Graphic Legends, and Worksheets, and how each relates to the others and to embedded object data. The course closes with Data Visualization, showing you how to control graphics and analyze designs in ways static drawings can't.
By the end, you'll have a data-driven workflow you can apply to real projects — one that saves time and protects your margins.
